Marvel Avengers Captain America Silver Tone Tie Clip

Is this fun or what? If the dad in your life wears ties, what better way to bring a smile to his face every time he uses this Marvel Avengers Captain America Tie Clip!

Shrinky Dink Tie Tack

Head over to Oh Happy Day to see this super cool idea using Shrink Film. This is really neat! It takes homemade crafting to a new level and, it’s even useful.

iTunes Gift Card

An iTunes gift card is perfect for the Leave Me The Heck Alone Dude at the gym! He can pop his ear buds in and workout in peace.

Costco Gift Card

Oh my goodness! There’s so much fun to be had at Costco. Guy stuff is easy to be found.

Specialty Coffee

It’s always a treat to brew a specialty coffee. Even though I was a barista, I have to admit I’m not a coffee drinker, but the hubby LOVES Java!Java! Coffee.

Java!Java! Coffee

PTFit Multiroller

The dad in the Zotti household often has a kink, a knot, an itch, what have you. I’m thinking most dads would love this PTFit Multiroller. Of course, the balancing act the kids play when walking on their dad’s back is always fun to watch too!

UnderTech Undercover Men’s Concealment Tank Top Coolux Shirt

For the dad in your life that takes protection seriously. My hubby loves his UnderTech Undercover Concealment Tank Top.

UnderTech UnderCover Men’s Concealment Shorts

These Concealment Shorts are next on Blake’s list. Any way that makes concealing more comfortable and less conspicuous is his goal.

The Squatty Potty

You know you love it! Maybe Dad would spend less time on the toilet if he had one of these? Read more about why you need a Squatty Potty here.

Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand

Of course, a little reading material would go along well with that Squatty Potty. Blake recommends Unbroken by Laura Hillenbrand. It’s one of his favorite reads so far this year.

Short Sleeve Cool Fitness Shirt

Heading to the beach? Check out Coolibar for ways to protect Dad’s skin while enjoying surf, sun, and sand.

The dad in your life will look handsome in this shirt too.

Corded Drill

Alright, you caught me, I’m adding this one in because Blake seems to have a hard time with those clunky batteries. They seem to have lost their ability to charge. I’m thinking a corded drill just might be a better option. I’m not saying this is the best out there because I just don’t know but I love the idea.

Something Practical

Okay, it may not SEEM like the perfect choice but it just might be. The practical gift may free up Dad’s fun money for something he’s been saving for. Something big!

Find out what he needs and I’m sure he’ll be thankful.

It’s decision time. There are a few things on this list Blake already has. I would love to give him the rest but, you know, I’m working with an allowance here.

Love it, Jayleen! I read the post to Jay and he wants to weigh in on the drill controversy. He thinks a cordless is great out in the field, but the corded is better for the home. You can always guarantee that the corded will work, whereas you have to remember to recharge the battery, and then if it loses charge, you’re SOL. As for me, I especially loved that short sleeved fitness shirt up there! WAY sexy! 🙂

I have to laugh at the gun shirt/boxers… very American. You won’t see those on any Canadian Father’s Day lists here… lol! My hubby is receiving a new pair of black camo shorts (I’m *NEVER* able to find clothes he likes, but these he actually will!) and some cash in a card for summer concerts. 🙂

  • kay ~ lifestylevoices.com May 29, 2015, 10:10 am

oops, I meant the TANK top, not the fitness one! (but without the gun, and WITH that guy in it). 🙂

  • Kara @ The Daily Whisk May 29, 2015, 12:03 pm

Whoa! Concealment garb! I find that equally cool and alarming!

  • How Do The Jones Do It May 29, 2015, 6:37 pm

Jay knows his stuff! Does he recommend a particular brand?

  • How Do The Jones Do It May 29, 2015, 6:38 pm

Lol! That’s my husband;0) TeeHee! Just kidding. ROFL

I’m thinking Jay needs that tank top;0)

  • How Do The Jones Do It May 29, 2015, 6:40 pm

Guys don’t like guns in Canada? I would have never known.

Sounds like you found the perfect gift. My lips are sealed;0)

  • How Do The Jones Do It May 29, 2015, 6:41 pm

I guess it depends on who’s using it;0)

  • Carla May 29, 2015, 6:43 pm

Oh i’m sure they do… lol! It’s just that most Canadians don’t carry, nor is it legal for most people. 😉 Mostly people in the country & hunters, but it’s not a “let’s go to Target, grab your gun, honey” type thing. 😉

  • kay ~ lifestylevoices.com May 29, 2015, 6:49 pm

He likes DeWalt. He says most guys out in the field are partial to it too. I think he secretly misses “tooling around” with the guys. 😛

  • kay ~ lifestylevoices.com May 29, 2015, 6:50 pm

We both gotta get working on our pre-baby bodies. 😛

  • How Do The Jones Do It May 29, 2015, 7:28 pm

Ah! Okay … I get it. We shop in a pretty rough area because it’s the most convenient. I won’t go to Target after dark, no way, no how;0)

  • How Do The Jones Do It May 29, 2015, 7:29 pm

Thanks for the advice, Jay! I’m sure he could find new guys to ‘tool around’ with … just tell him he can’t ever become a ‘tool’;0)

  • How Do The Jones Do It May 29, 2015, 7:32 pm

Lol! How old is Junior? TeeHee! I think you should be like Frugalwoods and post neck down pictures … at the beach;0) We all want to see that Florida beach!

  • Kirsten May 30, 2015, 3:24 am

The corded drill got me. Hubs bought an electric weed eater a couple of years back. The battery lasts for 40 minutes and that is never long enough for him to get through the yard. So he’ll do half the yard, come back in and charge the battery, which is always sitting on my kitchen counter. Surely that is where all tools and home improvement supplies should go. Then he’ll forget about it. A few days later he will do the other half the yard and run out of battery… And the cycle continues. Our yard is never fully done.

  • How Do The Jones Do It May 30, 2015, 7:11 am

Oh goodness! Don’t you just love those batteries. Many projects get done the old fashioned way around here, with a good ol’ screwdriver;0)

  • diane @smartmoneysimplelife Jun 1, 2015, 2:58 pm

Ha ha ha… You’ll never see them on an Australian Father’s Day list either!

  • Christina @ Embracing Simple Jun 2, 2015, 9:20 am

Haha I saw the squatty potty on shark tank awhile back and thought it was kind of crazy, but it actually makes a lot more sense. Would be a great gift for anyone really! Super practical 😉

  • How Do The Jones Do It Jun 2, 2015, 11:53 am

I love the Shark Tank! I feel really bad for some of those folks but it’s a fun show to watch.

Anything that keeps things moving … Lol!

  • How Do The Jones Do It Jun 2, 2015, 12:05 pm

Lol! I bet there’s an Australian dad out there somewhere that would love concealment shorts;0)

  • diane @smartmoneysimplelife Jun 2, 2015, 3:09 pm

Maybe… But, he’d need to find something else to conceal in them. Private handguns are harder to find here than hen’s teeth. 🙂

  • How Do The Jones Do It Jun 2, 2015, 4:27 pm

Ah! It’s so interesting to learn about other countries. It’s sounds like they aren’t illegal, just hard to come by?

  • Beth McIntire Jun 16, 2015, 9:19 am

I could use one of those multi rollers right now.
